Are MM Heating installers trained and Gas Safe registered?

Yes. All of our installers and central heating engineers are highly professional and experienced with Gas Safe certification. You can verify their credentials directly on the Gas Safe Register website.

Do I need to do anything before my installer arrives?

Clear away any clutter around the boiler — especially any valuables. Also make sure the boiler is in a dry and secure place and that the engineer will have clear access to the boiler and any radiators being worked on.

How do I know when the installation date is?

When you've paid in full or signed your finance agreement before 3:30pm, you will be eligible to book a slot for next-day installation. If you haven't signed within the first 24 hours, your boiler becomes available to other customers.

How does MM Heating work for boiler replacement?

Once you answer questions based on your existing boiler, we recommend a set of boiler packages. You can pay in full or from £10.97/month using secure online payments. MM Heating delivers the boiler via courier and a certified Gas Safe installer arrives shortly after to get it all set up.

How much does a new boiler cost?

Traditionally, a new A-rated boiler costs between £2,500 and £4,000. MM Heating can offer the same A-rated boiler from £1,695, or from £10.97 a month, including VAT. All boilers come with manufacturer and workmanship warranties.

Do landlords legally need a gas safety certificate?

Yes. Under the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, landlords must have all gas appliances inspected annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Tenants must receive a copy within 28 days of it being issued.

What is an EICR and when do I need one?

An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) documents the safety and condition of your electrical wiring. It is mandatory for all private landlords in England since 2020, and must be renewed every 5 years or between tenancies.
